Welcome to Clam Shell Cottage - three blocks from the Delaware Bay, “The Home of the Best Sunsets.” This family home in the heart of the residential neighborhood of Bayside Village in Villas, NJ has 4 bedrooms, two full bathrooms, laundry room, screened porch and a cozy living room with a gas fireplace. Clam Shell Cottage was recently renovated to include a new kitchen, new flooring, and modern amenities, but we kept it simple with our focus on the outdoor activities in Cape May County.
Close to casual restaurants, great take-out, ice cream parlors, beaches, shops, world-famous birding, water sports, wineries, breweries, distilleries, farms, and farm stands throughout Cape May County.
This is the beloved second home of a family with deep Cape May roots.
Clam Shell Cottage will be rented to a local Cape May County family from November 2022 through October 2026.

Bay beaches allow dogs before 11am and after 4pm during the summer. Dogs are allowed on the beach all day in the off-season.

Cancellation Policy: 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date. 50% refund if cancelled at least 30 days before arrival date. No Refund if cancelled within 7 days of arrival.

Some Rules: No smoking, or parties/events. Minimum age to rent is 25.

“We had a wonderful stay in this home in Villas. Cape May is a quick drive away, and we really enjoyed hanging at the beach, which is in walking distance, and taking in the gorgeous sunsets. There are good seafood take-out options and shopping nearby. The house is very cute and cozy. The kitchen is spacious for cooking and the mix of lay outs of bedrooms would accommodate many families. We stayed there for a week with two families – four adults and three kids and had plenty of space!”
